Good day to all, I would like some opinions on this constellation dial please. View attachment 558045
I realised that I forgot to add in some details . Well is the rail track supposed to be that glossy? The font seems about right but as for the ‘Swiss made’ bit?
Here’s one to compare https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-constellation-rail-track-dial.36845/ It looks good to me.
Looks original to me but it could have had a clean ( M appears to be faded) Still if I needed it I'd be going for it
Does someone know on which references / periods this kind of dial was used? This one above obviously at the beginning of the 60ies... Thanks

Hi Peemacgee, thanks for your feedback! Let me ask it the other way around: Have there been rail track dials also in the 50ies and later in the 60ies? P.S. Always a pleasure to read your comments
IIRC they appear in the 14381 / 14393 cases, which run from late 50s to early 60s. I’m afraid I don’t know when they were first used here’s one @Dero13 sold 17,2xxx serial
+1. 551 or 561 cal. depending on whether they have a date feature. For the date models: Some have the word Calendar under Constellation and some don't. Both are correct. I think these railtracks are particularly hard to redial (well) and there are quite a few variants of them but you don't see them everyday.
