    Hi everyone,
today I saw this stainless steel Omega Constellation Pie Pan ref. 167.005, cal. 551, with bracelet 1068 and end links 570, at a reseller store.
I like it very much but I never studied this reference.
So I need some opinions on it because I would like to have it.

What do you think about the dial?
It does not look reprinted nor refinished.
There is only a small stain close to 12 and a small scretch between 1 and 2.

The case looks like it is in good shape and not overpolished.

The bracelet is good and tight. Is reference 1068 correct? And the end links 570?

The movement works perfectly, the watchmaker recently checked it.

It comes with a one year warranty.

The watch has its original box, I don’t know if papers are present.

The last price is 1.000 euros.

    Thanks for your opinions.

Very nice, dial is original, so are hands and crown. Case is sharp, all looks good in my opinion. Bracelet is a bonus. Also 1000 Euro is not bad for one is this condition. See what others have to say but I personally would not hesitate to buy this one. Just check movement number to make sure it’s not too early. Should be 1962 or later.

Original box in good condition is worth €100 - €150.

That's a very decent price for a 167.005 in that condition!

If it has the original papers too, it is a very good deal.

Nice watch, minor imperfections on the dial would not deter me. :)

I agree with fellas above! That is a very nice watch. You don't find them often with that sharp legs. With a bracelet and original box i wouldn't sell it my self for 1000 euro :). Also if there is a one year warranty its sounds like a very good deal to me. Good luck!

Looks great. If that were mine, it would take more than €1k for me to let it go.

    It's a buy from me.

That is an excellent price in the current market. All steel is usually worth a small premium over gold-capped. The bracelet, box and papers are a bonus. I don't really track original bracelet model numbers and end links. These look like they fit perfectly, so they are likely original or optional after-market items.

I'd buy this one if you didn't want it. That's about the highest praise a collector can give.

Thanks a lot for your opinions.
I am surprised how sharp it looks on my wrist.
Tomorrow I’ll go to the shop looking for papers.
I’ll post pics of them and of the box.

Stunning! The case appears to have been been polished only once or twice in its lifetime; I've seen sharper but I've also seen a lot curvier examples. If the serial number and movement is correct, it's a beauty!

Pie pan dials in this condition are quite hard to find now. It looks really nice and I also think this is a very good price. If this is the sort of watch you want, don't hesitate!

Bit late to the party but looks good to me.
A bargain nowadays at €1000 for head only.
    With BOR a steal.
Box and papers would be a bonus
    A definite ‘buy now’

Next week I’ll post some pics.

Glad to see. Did you buy it in Italy and if so where ?
I've always struggled to find much of interest that wasn't both gold and very expensive.
