The dial is not as bad as the very bad crystal would lean you to believe.(I did get it at a good price at 255 I think) But the dial does need a careful cleaning. 2576 4 Case has been beat on , but not polished. Movement is clean and keeping good time so far.....one day. But the "bump" seems a bit hard hitting. 18XXXXX would put it at 1949 I think. Here is my question, I see a grove around the case back, but it has no rubber seal. Would this have been a waterproof and just missing the rubber seal?

One more question. I am on OTTO FREI site and have found the correct SS crown (now has gold) and I see two crystals for this case. 1) with a white ring and 2) with a yellow ring. I would think that I need the one with the yellow ring for this dial?

The more I look at this case, I think it may have been a gold capped case and the gold melted off. Close up pics to follow.

The main issue with the watch is the dial is a redial and not one done well. Hard to tell about the case. Movement looks nice and clean.
