What are your own thoughts about the font, the crosshair, the condition of the case, the hands, the plexi, thd crown, the applied omega symbol, the (absence of) T's and/or lume, the text, the minute markers, the shape of the s, the swiss made, the absence of pictures of the inside, side and back, the price, the seller, etc., etc.?
theres only two pictures in the listing no description, there is no mention of price, the "automatic" and "S" in seamaster text is suspect and the crown is a service part im guessing.
Pictures are not good but the dial looks to be genuine. It's probably a frontloader/unishell which means you can open it only from the dial side. Probably around '61 or '62. You need more pictures.
Looks like a really nice early 1960's watch to me. If you are buying it to wear it and price is right then go for it. If you are buying it to service and flip then you need a lot more detail.
Hard to tell from such terrible photos but the font and markers look heavy and uneven so likely a redial.
I'm on my computer now with the big screen and I must say the font looks indeed heavy. So you need to get better pictures in good light with the dial straight up to get better opinions...
i decided against buying it after seeing the case back it was heavily polished. thanks for your all of your help!
