    Seeking views on this beauty

Apart from the crown, it seems all ok.

Views from the Longinites (it's been a bit quiet these days here)?

Here comes another one. Crown is not original and the dial doesn't seem to be either although seller says it is. Bracelet looks interesting, is it to go with it?
Not particularly interested to buy unless price is good. Your views? Thanks

Actually, that's a later iteration and looks correct to me. The crown would be right for a post-1962 model with the date-at-3 and the dial looks perfectly fine. Correct bracelet too, but that was a dealer option back then. Actually, if I were to pick any nits about that watch it would be about the date wheel font. That 14 looks strange to me for some reason but I might just not remember it properly. Maybe I'd be a little picky about the small amount of blue lacquer missing on the medallion too...... maybe.

Don't be surprised if that sells WELL over $2400 because of the bracelet. The head alone on a decent strap would fetch nearly $1900, so we might be watching this sell in the neighborhood of $3000.

How about logo on the dial - should it be printed, (at least I see it printed on my small screen)?

That's not printed - it's applied metal. I've made the same mistake before, and then I took a pictore or two of some of my Longines from the same era and noticed a head on shot makes the metal winged hourglass look like it's ink.

That's a helluva bracelet. Never seen one like that before.

I think it's nicer than the OEM Omega 18K ones from the same timeframe. ::love::

Already @$2.5k+ and it's just couple hrs later. 3k seems like a matter of another short while. Wonder how far will this craze go.
Btw did someone from here bid by any chance?
