This watch is from my personal collection. It is a true over sized Omega wristwatch which measures 37mm across not including the crown.
Any Omega collector will know these watches are extremely hard to find.
The case is stainless steel and is in fantastic condition. The white crosshair dial is one of the most stunning designs I have seen on a vintage Omega watch, the dial has not been refinished in any way and is along with the beautiful blued steel hands totally original. The dial has sun fading on one side due the the watch being worn under a shirt cuff. The dial also has a couple of marks here and there but these do not stop the dial from being totally stunning.
This watch was produced in 1938 and delivered to Poland some time after that, early Omega archives are known for not offering much information regarding to whom the watch was delivered but my feeling is that the watch looks like a military watch.
Watches of this era are usually quite small but this watch is very special indeed. Please take a look at my pictures, I have put the watch alongside my Omega speeedmaster for size comparison.
The watch comes with a Brown Omega box which is in excellent condition and very old. The strap/buckle are not Omega items but are in superb condition.
Please note. The Omega speedmaster and its boxes and paperwork are not part of this auction. Thanks
