Opinions about Helium CryptoCurrency and Peoples Network?

Hi

These days a friend of mine ask me what is my opinion about the "new" type of mining..Helium currency.
For me was a new thing and after i google it a little on the official websites only good things..At the beginning i also liked the idea of a new decentralised network but after i study more i decided that it's a scam..
My arguments:
1.The fact that on every site if you want to order a router you just pay a lot of money ( the equipment does not worth so much) and you will have to wait month?? to arrive.
2.On a consume of light bulb you can make hundred and more of dollars?..I liked the idea at the begging so much so i was ready to mount a router without earning any money..
3. Who will pay to use this new network when we already have Internet in every corner of the world to a very low cost in my opinion..
So in my opinion the only profit it is for the companies which sell these equipments and delay the delivery..

Anyway i am not an expert so i am interested to find the opinions of more clever person then i am..
