Greetings everyone... I placed this watch on my "watch list". Looks very clean and well done. My concern is the off color gear wheels in the movement, is that a valid concern? Would appreciate any feed back, most of you have a lot more experience this I do! http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEAUTIFUL-CLASSIC-GF-1967-OMEGA-SEAMASTER-WRISTWATCH-SERVICED-/350518924615Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Thanks!
The movement looks fine to me. Not sure what you mean with off color gears? They use to be in steel and gilded colors. Nothing wrong to my eyes (not best pics). Happy Hunting!
Looks to be in really lovely and unpolished condition, which is not easy to find. So, IMO, deserving of a premium. Only question I would have is whether that little mark between "7" and "8" is a nick on the crystal or the dial. If it's only on the crystal then I'd have no problem laying out that kind of money for that quality--you can't go wrong paying a bit more for a no-issues watch that hits all the high notes. Also, that's a very nice manual movement with the positional adjustments--quality piece all around. Best, T.
