To me it looks OK ...Crown looks ok ...would need better shots though. Dial is too far gone for my taste.

 

definitely need a better look at the dial......

 

I vote redial, looks like the sub second has no telephony gauge and unless the subdials have railroad pattern surrounding them, there are only very rare exceptions that allow for the lack of telephony bars.

I believe it is authentic.

This model is very old, and there are also other examples without telephony bars.

@jsflog beat me to it but i wouldn't say redial only based on the lack of the telephone bars in the seconds subdial...

@primabaleron in case you're intersted in that watch, assure yourself that the movement is complete and in good condition, it's hard find parts for the cal. 386

 

I will note this down as part of the exception list.

 

I have learned form the "best" in the past about this specific model.

I 100% agree with you with regard to the movement parts, very difficult to find for this specific model

 

OP - a bit more info wouldn't hurt. Are you buying or selling? What are your thoughts/concerns on it?

 

I'd say original other than what appears to be a replacement crown. Front on shot would be nice as the "patina" probably appears worse than it is at that angle.

 

Thank for the opinions. In my opinion, the sweep hand is too short and the crown is not original.
