    Hi there
Below you find some photos of said watch im interested in. Unfortunately no movement shots...
According to the seller its a 45M serial, so produced some time between 1981-1983.
The watch was serviced recently. According to the receipt the service included:
    - full revision of the movement (but no parts changed besides the mainspring)
    - watch case and bracelet were polished, but according to the rather bad pictures doesn't look that bad
    - Bezel was replaced (correct DN90)
    - crown and chronograph pushers were replaced (new ones I guess)
    - gasket was replaced
So what do you think? Take a shot or let it go?

How much does the seller want for it?

Are you after a model from that period specifically?

    The seller wants 3700 $.
I recently bought a vintage omega dress watch, which is currently on its way to me and somehow got infected with the vintage virus. ;) Now im thinking about getting a vintage moonwatch. With that said, Ref 145.022 71-78 are probably the only references within my budget. A watch from 1983 would be a big plus as it is my birth year. :)

If the case states -78 it’s no later then 80.

As for the production date you will need an extract.

Looks OK to me, a bit polished but if it's on the bracelet the price isn't too much higher than what I'd consider decent for this example

I’m not sure I would pay more for a -78 than I would for an ‘80’s tritium 145.022 with a patinated dial. In fact I’d rather have a nicer later watch. I’ve seen some great looking ‘80’s produced examples of this reference and I don’t think the ‘78 is all that more collectible.

This one looks fine and the price is reasonable imo - but I wouldn’t buy it just because it’s “vintage”. I’d either hold out for an earlier ‘70’s (or better yet, -69 DNN) or buy a later production example that catches your eye.

The last photo of the case makes it look badly polished. Do you have more photos of the case from different angles?
