C Connie 168.027 (about 1967) for sale; does the dial looks original or redial?

A dial that clean with hands that aren't makes me suspicious. But I'd wait for more experienced members to chime in.

Not uncommon for a pristine dial to have hands that have oxidised. Attached is a recent example of mine.
I am by no means an expert on these Constellation dials, so I wouldn't dare to come with an opinion on the originality of the dial. But all in all it looks like a very nice specimen that I hope is all good!

One end link is stamped 518 while the other is stamped 18; the scratch at the center by the 45 mark was, according to the seller, the result of inadequate handling of hands removal in the past

How long are these C Connies on the wrist? Are they bigger than the regular ones? Think the flutted bezel would make it look bigger on wrist

I don’t think you will have an issue. I have the non fluted one and it wears very small lug to lug. Miles smaller than your speedy etc. Can’t be much more than 41/2 mm

Are dauphine hands correct for the c-case Constellations? I don’t think I’ve seen them on any other examples.

Yes - there was always a mix even though the design lent itself to thin stick hands.

The case is somewhat polished and the scratch on the dial is a fairly big detractor (it would be to me, at least), but other than that it's okay. The different endlinks may point to one of them having been replaced at some point or the bracelet and endlinks being a later addition, but that is no big deal, IMO.

As above the scratch on the dial  Would be enough for me to stop looking, that doesn’t seem to be there on the first picture ( or has been photoshopped out ) :whistling:
