It is not fake. Better pictures of the dial and case/ lugs would help people flag possible issues with the case and dial, such as refinishing, polishing, etc. though. Also, looking at Google images that combo of gold bezel and ss case does not appear -- it's almost like someone replaced the original gold plated case with a ss one. But hopefully a few OF members who know a lot more about these will give you better info tomorrow.

And it looks like the movement is in dire need of a cleaning (did crud from the caseback gasket fall into the watch when the caseback was removed, or was that dirt/ debris already inside?).

Your watch has a genuine Omega case/dial and movement. Whether they all walked out of the Omega factory together is questionable.

The case is very badly corroded (exceptionally so), the movement is filthy and will need a full service, the dial appears to have been cleaned harshly thus removing some of the markers.

Unless this was very very cheap I would not buy it.

In fact, I would not consider owning it for free as it will be a money pit I suspect.

Yes an AD can send the watch away for service but bear in mind this is a low value watch in poor condition and the service will likely cost 3-5x what the watch is worth.

Reverse the sale if you can otherwise a good local watchmaker will charge $150-250 to service it and you be good for at least 5 years.

Unless you got it extremely cheaply, or really like the look of it I'd try to send it back.
