    Hello Forum,

I am selling my faithful A385 El Primero, and a potential buyer has asked for a movement shot. Problem is, I don’t know if the caseback is snap-on, or screwed via the 12 sides of the caseback.

Coukd you offer some advice? I’ve learned not to jump in blind, especially with a piece of this value.
    Thanks a lot.

Screw-on. If you are not confident opening it, take it to an expert.

Indeed a screw-in case back. That can be a tricky one to open with the usual case back opening tools.

Although it's not flat and it has various designs you might be able to open it with one of those rubber balls (so as not to risk scratching it with a classic opener tool).

Hallelujah! Thank you so much for reminding me of this trick. Caseback opened and indeed it does have the 400 service movements that I was expecting.
    Thanks again.
