Hey everyone, I hope this find you all well.
I just made a purchase, a Universal Geneve Polerouter.

    A few issues:
    1. I'm pretty sure the crown is wrong. It's not signed and isnt similar to the ones I've seen on google images. The seller says she thinks its original, and truthfully, it matches perfectly in tone.
The dial - 1. It looks great to me but the lume markers are slightly smudged, I thought this might be normal?
    2. The font used in the 'Automatic' - never seen one like it. I think if it was a re-dial, they'd do the normal font.
    3. The 'SWISS MADE' is under the outer golden part (???)
So I'm also not sure if its a re-dial or not.

The serial number is 1846722 which dates to 1956-1957.
The ref. is 203%3-2 with the % being a 6 or an 8, the seller couldn't see clearly.

Disclosure: I paid $385 shipped. Is that a good deal? I can still cancel it.
Disclosure #2: My mind is set on the Rolex 1601. I've always wanted a Polerouter and figured I should get this and flip it in a while (I still need to save more for the Datejust)

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,
    Barack

    Can you elaborate?
A few say the dial seems okay. Are you talking about the crown?

crown is definitely wrong. You can do better if this is to be your only Polerouter. Not crazy about the dial.

It's a risk, but the profit would be great, wouldn't it? I'm fine with a wrong crown but if the dial is original (and most people I've asked say it is) it'll still be worth it, no?

I plan on flipping it within a month. I might get one in the future, when I'm not a 21yo soldier.

Crown is wrong, should be signed

Is a redial and not a good one: the font used is wrong, swiss made shouldn't be there (only swiss or nothing) and the lume plots degraded in a way that i never saw in a Polerouter

IMO, for 385 there's no room to make money

@Larry S is right, cancel it if you can
