There's one born every minute. Did you report it?

Yes, unfortunately I didn't spot it until it was about to end, but hopefully they will still take it down.

Hopefully it was somebody bidding on their own fake as a shill.

    But probably not...

    I rather like that!

Its gone now, but there will be more.

As I've said before eBay does care, the dozen or so things I reported yesterday were all removed within 24 hours.

Last month I reported an obviously fake Rolex bubbleback (one of the Chinese-made ones featured in the Dowling and Hess book, ca. 1990s), and it was never taken down by eBay, even though I reported it at least 5 days prior to close. And the seller just poo-pooed my concerns, saying that I just shouldn't bid (like I really intended to...).

Norm, a dozen or so things reported yesterday? You must be on vacation...

If we can stop just one a week from being sold then that helps one unfortunate buyer being stung.

Correct. I think we all agree on that.

I dont know what to look for in a Speedmaster, as all my Omegas have been Constellations. Probably a stupid question, but what are the issues with this watch,

I see that it has 1957 on the front, and claims to be a moon watch on the rear, or am I missing the point? Is it a complete abomination?

Just asking, because at some point I want a Speedmaster, so picking up tips along the way. Think I'm going to give it a good couple of months before I make my purchase so I know exactly what I am looking for.

It's completely wrong. Dial, subdials, bezel.... the whole thing is poorly done. Which is good - makes it easier to spot.

Basically it's got a identity complex.. It doesn't know if it's a Broad Arrow or a MoonWatch !.::confused2::
