    Ok so I was having a tidy up and move around etc and thought that you might enjoy some new pictures of my very first vintage GMT purchase made back in April 2015. The watch was made during 1968 and sold in December 1969 when the retail price was £100 as can be seen in the catalogue. If you look closely at the hang tag and Rolex booklet you can see that it has the UK reference for the watch which was 1015 and also that it was supplied with a 6636 bracelet. The set also has all the paperwork for the three services it has had in its life which had been carried out at Rolex UK in Bexley as well as a written history of the watch from the previous owner. I also sourced a NOS insert for it to replace the service insert it was wearing! Please enjoy the pictures. It is also NOT FOR SALE!

    I remember you commentating on a thread i started when i picked up a UK datejust 1603 last year, mf in late 1969, but sold in London in 1973, that also came with the same UK Rolex booklet.

    I see your booklet is filled in correctly with serial number and model ref. Lovely to see this plus all the other bits and pieces though - a true time capsule

    @leefowler
    Terrific stuff. As we all know, these were tool watches back in the day so finding "full set" (or close to it) examples is quite quite difficult. Very few owners had the foresight to keep the box and paper documents.
    ...Great find!
