You were so helpful about that other one with the black dial. This time, I've looked at the typography and it seems much better, but I'm almost certainly wrong.
One question - is the vertical cross hair supposed not to intersect the Omega logo?
If this one is no-go, I shall follow your earlier advice to buy from trusted members here instead.
THANK YOU.

Agreed--bad photos--but in answer to yr question: if the crosshair *doesn't* intersect everything, it's redone.

Hi DogLegs, and welcome.

I believe you didn't notice, but the pictures you posted are really low quality.. it is hard to see anything.

One thing one can already see, is that the case has been rather heavily polished.

Also, beware that it is difficult to find an original black dial when talking about vintage Omega. Most have been repainted/refinished and that makes the watch lose it's value as a collectible.

With good fotos, people here will be able to tell you.

I can’t see anything on the pictures, but yes, the cross hair should intersect the logo and the writing.

/edit: Too late to the party. 😀

So, you promise to be quiet after this ? Ok. You don't have to, if you present your own research. Not only ask questions with bad pics.

Yes, no need to run away, just a bit of effort on your part and good hi-rez pictures.

You'll find that actually trying to convey to us your uncovered research hones your visual skills.

And then follows phase two. That’s when you become so sceptical towards every watch out there that you’ll post them, highlighting their flaws, asking “it’s a redial, right?” - only to have people here tell you that what you took as a red flag was actually normal variation and the watch is actually fine. 😁
