Must be a case opener, no ?

The claw seem to be adjustable diameter with three prongs so would work with 3 or 6 notched casebacks.

Yes, that is the modern day version of this

....................But of course Archer has one. He uses it on watchmakers that put their sticky paws on movements without cots.

Contrary to popular belief, I do have a life outside of this forum...been busy with actual work and various other things. :)

Looks like a case opener to me. Hope you sleep better tonight!

Well, as it happens...I spent the morning participating in a medical study for people who have the type of arthritis that I do. I spent 4 hours being questioned, poked, prodded, measured, bled, and x-rayed. In the course of being told about the purpose of the study, and going over the privacy implications, the researchers always tell you about the "risks and benefits." Although there were no risks (other than what some blood work and x-rays involved) it was made clear to me that the benefits to me personally for being in this study are...none.

So although being a selfish bastard is something I certainly do from time to time, this morning it just happens I was doing my good deed to help researchers understand the disease I have better. :)

Now if you had said that yesterday...;)
