The capsule and a travelling exhibit will leave the Smithsonian to visit four museums across the US this year:

    Space Center Houston — Oct. 14, 2017–March 18, 2018
    St. Louis Science Center — April 14–Sept. 3, 2018
    Senator John Heinz History Center, Pittsburgh — Sept. 29, 2018–Feb. 18, 2019
The Museum of Flight, Seattle — March 16–Sept. 2, 2019

You all know what to wear when visiting the exhibit. :) We expect pictures as proof.
Here's a photo of the ongoing restoration:

I hope they don't replace all the nice vintage parts with modern service versions!

St. Louis science center is about 3.5hrs from me. Looks like I'll be taking a trip there this summer!

Thanks for the information. I've been looking for an excuse to go to Houston.

Awesome photo - that's my kind of hangar!
It will certainly be a shame if they over restore the capsule.
