Hi guys, I am looking for a nice original old Conquest, not re-issue. Don't know enough to be totally confident in my ability yet. If anyone can steer me in a positive direction towards a nice honest one that would be great. Cheers
I'm in the same boat. Honest ones don't come up too often; I've been looking (not too good at it) for 3 months now. I think we just have to have a lot of patience...
Any requirements - e.g. a specific calibre, minimum size? Only Conquest, or open to other models, e.g. Flagships, Ultrachrons?
Took the plunge on a Conquest 9025 last night, medicated night of no sleep. Will post pics when I receive but would also like to start the search for a nice rose gold Flagship in the near future.
Looking forward to the pics! In my experience, a gold Flagship is relatively rarer than the equivalent Conquest. However, gold Flagship Ultrachrons do pop up on the bay more often. Here's my 341 flagship!
Just watched this one sell yesterday: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-LON...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network After seeing Gavin's trio of Deluxes I'm really looking hard at the other two of the set: http://omegaforums.net/threads/ok-it-was-me.20616/
I pondered it for a bit and then thought sod it. Maybe a little high for now but time will fix that I don't buy to flip.
This one looks nice and it did not sell. May want to watch out for it if it gets relisted. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LONGINES-FL...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Certainly is. Do you think the watch still has any value? I guess a casebook is the proverbial hens teeth?
