Go to a local Boutique. They should be able to special order it from Switzerland. You may have to pay in advance, though.

He won't tell me were he lives, otherwise...:whistling:

Thanks Gator, I was hoping someone had one they wanted to get rid of. Looks like I may have to order one...was hoping for instant gratification knowing slim chances on that.

...talk about a long shot. That's even more optimistic than most of the Dibs calls round here ! :p

There is an a guy a couple of blocks from my office who sells vintage Omegas. I was able to purchase a copy of the book from him still sealed in the original shipping box and signed by the author. He has quite a few left as of last month. He is in Beverly Hills, California. He was asking 500 and change. I may be able to get a few copies. If I can get an idea of how many the forum members want I can go over there and see what I can arrange on price. I assume shipping will NOT be cheap given the weight of this thing.

OK then....just walked over there. All gone. He has one that someone wants but has not paid for yet. He told me to call tomorrow and if the guy doesn't come though I can have it. 500.00US but this one is NOT signed.
He also indicated he heard from a customer that they might still be available from the Omega Boutique in New York City. Anyone local there might want to check them out or give them a call.

These are $428 from an AD! So 500 is way too much

That was my issue. None available in the Los Angeles area boutiques. Only choice was to pay what the guy wanted or not have one. Oh well, it's only money. The info is priceless.

They will special order it from Omega. The Boutiques sometimes give them as premiums when a customer makes a really large buy.

At least that's what they told me.
