    It looks to me that the movement is the correct caliber and serial number range for the reference, but the case and movement look pretty rough and I'm certain the hands are not correct... The most tragic part is the dial.... It's been poorly redone.
    In answer to your question, I'd say it is authentic, but altered and in poor condition. Also understand that I'm a newbie here and just learning about this stuff.. I'm sure more experienced members will give you feedback too. Best wishes.

    I like that the bad redial says "AUTOMATIC" when it's a manual wind caliber inside. :p

    Yeah, that's pretty accurate, particularly the parts in bold.

    Wrong hands, bad redial, missing second hand & hence the missing parts from the movement.
