Hello every one, I am new to Omega. Love this watch the seller says all parts are genuine, crystal was changed( he is including the old crystal with the deal) Movement serviced ready to wear. ( I have put the question on WUS too, hope I am not disturbing too many people) Thank you for your time
I messaged the seller as well. He told me that the bezel was redone. His listing stated the dial was relumed. The movement number was disclosed so anyone could have easily accertained that the movement was possibly not original. Could have been swapped during an early Omega service. Seems this was common in the old days. If you are the winning bidder, why would you not send the funds and purchase the watch? It is a contract you entered into btw. The listing was for 7 days I believe. You evidently had 6 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and approx 40 seconds for proper do diligence before you rushed in at the last seconds to bid the watch from $4000 to $5700. No one deceived you. You just didn't do your homework. Why bother to ask this forum now?
Ok. Sorry if I'm a bit harsh. We all have made some error in watch buying. Especially in our early days. You are fortunate in that although you might have overpaid for this watch, you have done so in a rising market. Early Seamasters are getting very hard to source and the prices are constantly rising. Evidently you were not alone in liking this watch as you beat another bidder by only $100. Buy the watch, enjoy wearing it and don't look back.
One last word regarding this auction. As the watch is returnable, you do have some options. You can buy it, perhaps want to keep it or return it and be out $100 in round trip shipping costs. As returns are a pain in the butt for sellers, you could probably send the seller a truthful message, explain the circumstances and your "buyers remorse" and be off the hook. The seller would rather relist it than deal with a return. Seller could also offer the watch to the number 2 bidder. Good luck.
I have initiated the money transfer, I will stick to my word and I still like this watch. It looks beautiful to me. Once it arrives will post more pics. Thank you guys [emoji106]
I don´t know what kind of verification you are hoping for from the service centre that you can´t find here? My concern remains with that low serial cal 500. It just seems too early to me at around 1956-57.

Except the case back - it's possible it might have been service replacement, I checked with omega watchmaker he says, omega dosent keep early seamaster 2913-1 to 6 case back strict references. I have made an appointment with him next month.
