Omega XVI for sale with the pre-commercial Olympic crest of merit on dial. I've posted on here asking about this watch before and now have decided to move it on. This is the hard to come by pre-commercial version with the Olympic cross of merit on the dial. These were made as prototypes and only a few were made before Omega was forbidden from using the crest. Watch is in great working condition for its age. Holds time and power reserve. Case is in decent condition with some marks and scratches around the case. Dial has been repainted at some point. Service history unknown - though I can have the watch serviced by my local jeweler for $100 extra and comes with a warranty (given jeweler is in Dubai I recommend you get it serviced locally instead) - again watch is running fine anyways Price is $3750 net to me shipped via Your courier of choice worldwide or Express mail. Insurance available at cost and only through courier. As much as I would like to accept paypal it's not easy for me to do so as I cannot link my UAE bank accounts to PayPal. As such I will have to limit sales to wire or similar methods I'm a very reasonable guy so happy to discuss other potential payment methods. Reasonable offers will be entertained Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Though I do not have feedback on this forum I do have feedback on WUS and Christopherwardforum under the same username. Example of recent feedback http://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=33429&p=482446&hilit=Omegaaddict#p482446 Pics of the watch: more can be taken at request
Not at the moment I'm afraid. I wasn't able to get the case back off myself so had my jeweler take a peak and send me the movement photos. I'll give it a shot myself when I'm back home later today. If I still can't manage to get the case back off only option is to go back to the jeweler...
Were there 2 variants of the pre commercial release, I have seen ones with a lume band on hands, coloured rings ans no t's on the text at the bottom of the dial?
