Omega X-33 Strap Suggestions

I've just gotten a wonderful Gen 2 X-33 that I'm ecstatic to have. It came with the titanium bracelet, which I'm using right now, but I always enjoy changing out to different straps. Given the X-33 has a rather unique aesthetic, I wonder what other straps folks might be wearing their X-33s on. I really like the look of the official Omega kevlar straps (the green one and the red one); any other suggestions? I'd love to see what other members have been using.

Thanks!

When I bought mine I was thinking of buying one of the canvas options, but ended up enjoying the titanium bracelet and not bothering.

Unusual for me as I usually prefer straps.

I would try a nice and simple Velcro strap, marine nationale approved, a bit like this one

Congrats for the watch, you beat me to it 👍

Congrats on the X33! It’s my daily and have been trying various straps to keep it fresh. It’s currently on the perforated leather strap from the Olympic Games Seamaster.

If you are a NATO fan, both Prometheus Design Werks and Triple Aught Design have good options. Prepare to be shocked by the TAD price.

Pics of my TADS:

There is a company called Redux who used to offer some decent Ti hardware NATOs. They are on the short side. If that's your cup of tea, and your wrist is under 7.5", let me know. I have some that I don't use because they are too short for my 7.7" wrist. I'm not sure what their deal is now. The site is up, but they have been without stock for years now.

I think a nice, heavy leather strap and deployant buckle would work. So few are deployant compatible, though. X-33 is a watch I want to own.

I had mine on a green Omega NATO as well as a Hamilton leather bracelet (I think it was a 21mm). I'll be putting it on a cordura strap soon.

I think it was a Japanese market option for the Gen2 - there was also red and black, and they come in regular or XL length.

This was my old Gen 1 watch - which I sold to pay for a Gen 2 with a bracelet.

Think I might have to order another green strap from the OB… 😎

I have the green kevlar strap on my Gen1 - its a fantastic colour. The material does take some time to mold to the shape of your wrist though, I also use it with a Hirsch sport deployant buckle which I find a bit easier than using a standard buckle.

$285?! 🤬 those are expensive! Makes an Omega NATO seem like a bargain.

Materials are as good as they come, but still...painful. I was lucky to get one on the second hand market.

Last month, I ordered a grip of MN straps from Cheapest NATO Straps. I'm happy with them. Truthfully, I don't know what constitutes a proper MN strap but I like how they wear or rather, how I wear them. An MN strap could work on an X-33.
