ยทHello I'm new to this forum and this is my first post ๐
I found this watch and i'm not sure if its a legitimate ww2 era watch and found lots of information googling it but nothing which really answers my question.
as far as i can tell the caseback markings are correct for that timeperiod (A.M. instead of Pheon), also the movement serial seems correct.
what's currently throwing me off is that there is no "2292" reference inscribed on the caseback but what seems to be a generic serial number, which then raises more questions if the caseback engravings are legitimate.
any help would be very much appreciated as i've somewhat become obsessed with the watch, but only feel i could satisfy that obsession if it's all original ๐
