    would like to purchase this watch as it shall be my first ww2 omega. the dial is refinished.

    i just want to know if the engravements on the back are correct and if hands / crown is correct?

    its a 30t2 caliber in there

    It's not an RAF watch it's a WWW= wrist watch waterproof issued to the army. Crown looks ok. The two sets of numbers on the back are the military and civilian case numbers.
    Y=omega followed by a 5 digit number which is the military identification number for that watch.
    The other number is the civilian case number. If you subtract the military number from the civilian number (for an omega watch) you should get an answer of 10664199, which you do in this case. Hope that answers your question.

    Should have pointed out that the numbers look to have been repainted, not particularly well in my opinion, but could still be genuine MOD work.
    The rest looks ok to me.
