Hello all, I want to share this piece of my collection. Got it from the son of the soldier who fought in Belgium during WW1 (famous Battle of The Yser). Included in this set, are all the medals he go after and during the war, his 'brevet' and his 'fire card'. (list of service). This is a watch i've never seen before, it's working fine and had a very nice dial. it's all silver and all original. I've bee thinking about contacting the Omega Museum. What do you guys think, worth the effort?
the serial number on that watch is from late 1918, early 1919... I'd interested to see what Omega would have to say, it does have that "trench watch" look about it!
Thanks! Yes the serialnumber is indeed around 1918, but i've read it can be earlier too( because it's not 100% accurate the serialnumberlistings on chronomadox etc.) you have any idea how to get in contact with the omega museum?
