    Dear Omega lovers,
i got an oppurtunity to buy from a friend an old Omega wristwatchs, but sadly i am a stranger to an Omega world, so i am asking a pro's about opinion about this watch, for me it looks pretty legit and i doesn't see any warning signals. But I am little bit cautious, because for watch from cca 1925, it looks very good and not a lot of marks of using.

Sadly i don't have any backstory about this watch, only, that this friend got it from an old relative as a gift.

When i saw this watch for a first time i fall in love immediately, but i want to know more about them, can somebody who specialises on this type of watches can say me more, or even recognize if is it an "Frankenstein" (watches, that are completet from multiple different parts) watches.

And second question i want to buy it for a fair price, because it belongs to my friend and i doesn't want to buy it for a too low and "rob" him. He doesn't know anything about watches, so that wouldn't be fair. So please can you write me your opinions?

Thank you very much and sorry for my bad English ( I am not a native speaker).

Looks like a recased pocket watch. That's as far as my expertise goes!!

Tough to tell, but it looks quite small to be a pocket watch conversion. Also, the serial number is entirely plausible for a wristwatch of this type. I am not well-versed in Omega so will let others confirm/deny.

I respectfully disagree. I think this is an early wristwatch case from 1925-27 period.

Wristwatches were well established by that time for most brands.

I think that the original lugs probably broke off at some point and were remade or re-soldered at some point.

I'm with my Florida brother. It is exactly what it appears to be. Lugs may have been repaired at some point, it's not obvious one way or another.

I concur with Gatorcpa, probably not a converted pocket watch. It looks like a 23.7 "Genève", or its previous version with a 12 lignes, a watch of very small diameter, that was produced as a wristwatch.
Here are some illustrations (mine, with close serial numbers, is equipped with a 23.7S T2) :
