As I think about the Omega watches I have owned in the past, I started reflecting about which of those watches I miss the most. I would be interested to hear from other folks about which Omegas you regret selling. For me, this Seamaster is at the head of the list. It is model 2230.50 and if I recall correctly, the bezel was white gold. It was the non Americas Cup version. It is definitely my favorite of all the versions of the older look Seamasters.

I've owned 3 Seamaster 2055.80 (electric blue on bond, 40mm). I've been considering getting another. :p Safe to say I miss it a bit. Even more, though, I've missed my DSOTM since the day I sold it, though I now have mixed feelings as the whole landscape around sides-of-the-moon has changed quite a lot. I very severely miss my Rolex Yacht-Master I sold late last year, too. No mitigating circumstances there, it was a mistake, plain and simple.

I sold a Centenary 2500, realized how bad of a mistake that was, and bought another in slightly better condition less than 2 years later.

I do sort of miss my black dialed Seamaster Chronostop and Constellation DeLuxe 2700 now & again.

This is the reason why I can't come to terms with the idea of flipping my non-AC to buy a new SM300. I'm sure I would regret it.

I don't want to regret selling any of my very small collection of watches. I am only buying watches that I really really want. The kind that just thinking about them puts a smile on my face. None are particularly valuable in money terms but you would have to chop my arm off and kill me with it before I would part any of them.

I considered selling mine a few times but I knew the same would happen, wearing it right now. Low volume LE + 10 years old + very good looking is a hard combination to pass on.

I regret selling 3, for varying reasons.

I sold my Railmaster chrono as it just didn't do it for me anymore. So why the regret? They go for upwards of $1,000 more than what I sold it for, and that's when you can find them.

My Aqua Terra chrono was recently sold last year; that was my first true grail watch. I had stopped wearing it as it was due for a service and quite frankly I had grown a tad tired of it. Now? I miss the hell out of it.

Lastly, my Seamaster cal. 751. Aside from what a great-looking watch it is, I miss this one simply because I will be hard-pressed to stumble across another one in as good condition for a decent price. Not hen's teeth rare, but definitely rare nonetheless.

This would hurt. Wow. Not to pour salt, but what the heck were you thinking?

I'm wearing mine today. I have actually stated I would only trade this one for a 9300 ti, but I was not wearing the watch at the time. And as I wear it now, I retract that previous statement.

For me a 2004 green bezel Rolex sub. I never wore it, it stayed in the safe with it's box and papers and was sold at a moderate profit but I did like it. No pics. any more I'm afraid.

The "Great White" GMT and two 1960s constellations, one a cal 551, piepan dial and one cal 564 "C" case. All of these watches would be significantly more expensive to acquire today than the prices I sold them for (and I made a few bucks on each sale). I wish I had them.

The only Omega I've ever sold, I miss quite a lot.. should have kept it... it was the only pie-pan out of my 3 Constellations, had amazing patina, and it was a very rare reference with screw-down case-back in a 5xx series:

I am guilty of sellers regret aswell. I had a couple Bond Seamasters. Sold them to fund a Rolex Submariner NoDate and realized after a month that I liked the Seamaster more and sold the Rolex. Could not find one in the same perfect condition as the ones I sold..... So I purchased a brand new SMP 300m ceramic Black as a replacement which I love. Then a beautiful Bond 2531.80 like I sold became available so I bought it. So now I have the old and new and love both for different reasons. image.jpg image.jpg
