Hi I inherited my father's watch and am keen to find out the value. He bought it in Geneva in 1972. It is a Gold Omega Constellation Automatic Chrome Master Official Certified. It is still in working order. 1553757682115573718734577854247.jpg 1553757682115573718734577854247.jpg

They must be pretty uncommon in solid gold, and note even the dial itself is made from gold (see the OM either side of Swiss made). Having said that, it would be less desirable due to the “integrated bracelet” design of the case, and the condition of the bracelet itself doesn’t seem great.

So as a minimum you could consider scrap value of the material which obviously depends on its weight. So for example if there’s 60g of 18k gold there you’re looking at around 1500 euro. My guess for the watch as-is would be around 2000 euro, but others may be more (or less) optimistic !

Wow, I've never seen one of these.
If the dial is correct, the "OM" markings in both sides of "Swiss Made" indicates that the whole watch is solid gold (correct me if I'm wrong). As of the dial, there's something that keeps troubling me, but I may be paranoic.
Let's see what the experts say! I'm sure @ConElPueblo might be able to provide you with some more info.
That being said, a shot of the movement and of the inside of the caseback would be helpful.

    Best,
    Javi.

    Cheers, @rincondeltiempo .

I am afraid I don't know a whole lot of this one. It looks correct, but as @w154 says, the value is unlikely to be much higher than the scrap value of the gold content.

The OM only applies to the dial, but the "whole watch", minus movement, crystal and stem would more than likely be solid gold, depending on hallmarks.

    To Nora,

I purchased a solid gold Omega with a bracelet almost like yours, it wasn't original Omega but was made to fir the watch.
I sold the bracelet for scrap which actually paid for the watch itself :D.

Do you ghave more pics of the back of the watch and the parts of the bracelet.

    Cheers

    Jim

As many have already said scrap gold value is a starter. Clearly the dial and hands look guenuine . It would be good to see a few photos of the movement and case back to give a better insight to what you have
