Hi I’m looking at an omega watch that’s for sale but not sure if it is legit. It says omega quartz cal 1345 on box . Face has omega sign at top , then quartz down bottom , to the side is day and date , leather strap . I’ve asked for better photos but on back at bottom it says 1980 . Thanks

Yes, it's a real Omega watch.

I hope it's cheap, its not particularly desirable. If it's not running strongly and accurately run away since fixing those late 1970s quartz movements is tricky and most repairers just wont. Anything more than just a new battery will cost an arm and a leg. Check that the push to set crown button works, they often fail.

I don’t know what the exchange rate is but unless that’s 100 £/€/$ I’d walk away.

I doubt it is worth $100 of any denomination really since they can't even confirm it runs.
