    Hello,
I have recently found out that my grandfather owns an old Omega pocket watch. He claims that it was his fathers who got it as a wedding gift back in 1923. He has told me it is older that 1923 though. I have had trouble finding from what year it's from. Would gladly accept some help on when this was made and also the model name

    Much later than 1923.

There are a dozen charts on the internet and twice as many threads on the subject. Are there that many folks who have no idea how to search the internet or are there just that many folks who can't be bothered?

You're right, I do rather like the watch he has shown us though!

I imagine that the original poster's search of the internet lead them here. That's how I got here, I was trying to figure out if something was real and found a place filled with experts.

At work I spend a good part of my day wondering if people have looked for the answer or done any troubleshooting before they ask my team for help. I have to remind myself that I'm very familiar with my subject of expertise and someone new to it doesn't have that level of confidence in what they find.

What would have made the original posters question "better" would have been including what they did search and find, that way when people answer their question they know that they've at least tried to find the answer. Maybe something like: "I have had trouble finding from what year it's from - I found some info but it contradicts my grandfathers recollection and so I wanted to ask here to try and confirm".

@giovannicb1 : Anyway, it's a cool looking pocket watch, maybe there's a second one kicking around some where and your grandfather has it confused with this one.

    Hi formers,
I inherited the same watch from my grandfather. Slightly less well maintained and has no chain. Anyone know about the price? I couldn't find any price about this pocket watch. And ı want to do restore this. Omega distrubutor can do?

I suggest you read this, and then proceed with your questions in a new thread.
