Can anyone tell me if this watch is authentic? I have already bought/paid for it, should be here Friday. I think its real( based on very limited knowledge). Just need some insight from those who know, to confirm status. Otherwise will be sending back for refund. If it is authentic, can anyone tell me more about it. Thanks so much in advance, Thomas

As a collector I must aver, I thoroughly examined it, and its not only merely real, its really most sincerely real (and authentic)

A very nice purchase and welcome to the forum

Did you just mimic the Coroner from Munchkinland ? Why not welcome the new member with a chorus from the Lollipop Guild ? I am constantly amused and amazed here.

Usually one must go to a bowling alley to meet a member of Steve's stature.

    Welcome Icurnmedic,
A very nice sapphire sandwich. At that price it is a good deal.

Ok, so sorry to bother you guys/gals again, but thinking of purchasing a second watch , so I can have the black band or the metal band, depending on what I am doing. Can you advise on this watch? Real or not, and also what price would you expect this watch to go for? I apologize for my lack of knowledge, these are the first "high end" watches Ive bought. And again I appreciate the feedback on the 1st omega. Thomas

Ordinarily a 145.0012 is a good and historical watch to buy, with some increasing value.

This watch has a movement described as a replacement and it looks beat-up. Other parts of the watch are replaced as well.
    Do not buy this watch.

That won't be hard - just give us some deals on those watches your boss has stashed that he might sell instead of melt and "Bestest buddy to watch collectors" might end up there in place of "posh nouveau Yank". ;)
