There could be a number of different answers to the question value :

-distress value (basically sold for the gold content).
-liquidation value (basically sell it as a watch as quickly as possible).
-secondary market wholesale value (what might a dealer in used watches pay for it).
-secondary market retail (what would the used watch dealer sell it for).
-new replacement, or insurance valuation. (the subject watch is discontinued, so that would be impossible to determine. You'd have to check stores for karat gold watches that are similar, to determine approximate new replacement value).

Your best bet would be to check the completed auction archives of some on line auctions to see what similar used watches have sold for. Simply put, ladie's watches exist in a buyer's market, and often trade for scrap value, or little more. In the cold light of day, it is worth what people are willing to pay.

I will say that, externally anyway, it seems to be in good condition. Do I read a .750 in the buckle (18- karat), or is it .585 (14- karat)? These woven mesh bracelets are fragile, and easily damaged. But this one looks in good shape.

Thanks for the reply, The Buckle reads .750
So the watch isn't a collectors item or rare?

    Regards,
