Hello everyone,

I would like some help identifying a vintage Omega wristwatch that I own. I’m trying to determine its exact model, reference number, and year of production.

Here are the details I have:

  • Movement serial number: 10673661 (engraved on the movement)
  • Caseback number: 10642120 (engraved inside the caseback)
  • Case material: 18K gold (marked “18K 0.750” inside the caseback)

I’ve attached photos of the watch, the movement, and the inside of the caseback for reference.

From what I’ve researched so far, I believe it could be from around 1944, but I would greatly appreciate confirmation as well as any additional information about its model name, reference, and production details.

Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge!

Hello and welcome,

you have got a nice watch looking original.
Sorry that I can´t comment on the ref. but I have seen this case design several times on ebay.
What I can tell you is that it has a cal 28 encased.

As mentioned. Cal 28. 40’s. Movement could do with a cleaning

If you want to be precise. Do a search on the serial number on the movement

Based on the case and movement serial numbers, I would date the watch to around 1946.
The number inside the little key symbol (called a Poinçon de maître") tells you who made the case for Omega, but I can't make it out.

Many Omega watches of that time did not have specific "model" names, your watch would have simply been known as a "Gents gold wrist watch".

Nice watch, fancy case! Dial could be an old redial though.
Too bad the Omega Extract from the Archives service is currently unavailable, they could have provided a reference starting from that case serial number.
