Hi Omega Forum, I have been given this lovely old Omega watch that has been handed down in my family - Unfortunately i know nothing about it and was hoping somebody here will be able to point me in the right direction for a bit of Omega knowledge! Many thanks
1920's-1930's cushion case, Omega wrist watch, mens. Nice heirloom, have it cleaned, oiled and regulated every 4-5 years and keep passing it down. Google Omega Cushion Case and read to your heart's content. (also hit the Google Images tab) Welcome
Hi Phil and welcome to the forum! You have a nice watch there. Tex is right on the money, I'd guess early 30's,, but if you want some specific info, pop off the snap-on caseback (or better yet, have a watchmaker do it) and take some good close-ups of the writing inside the caseback and of the movement. We have a member here, @Tire-comedon , that is extremely knowledgeable of this era and hopefully will join us when he gets the chance.
Thanks guys! that's really helpful, much appreciated Might just find a watchmaker to have a look at it. If anyone knows of any good ones in London let me know. Thanks again Phil
Hi It could be either a 23.7, a 26.5, a 27.98 (it would be nice) or a 12 or 13 lignes. Impossible to say without a picture of the mouvement and of the serial number inside the caseback. I bet on a ref 800 with a 26.5SOB, but it's pure gambling...
