TE Lawrence, JB and Prince William all had one. i think this spoils the film for me. Anyone else who felt the same? Not a Bremont bashing thread please.
It's one on the silliest and most fun films I've seen in recent times... and the Bremonts are nice watches. I'm not sure that product placement agreements could ever ruin a film for me, unless the products placed stop you from seeing the movie! ;-)
Product placements were part of the reason why the Transformers franchise turned to trash under the helm of Michael Bay, IMO. And as much as I love Omega, I do think the pointless dialogue between Daniel Craig and Eva Green on choice of timepiece was a belly-flop moment in Casino Royale.
I agree that it was a very entertaining movie. I didn't entirely care for Sam Jackson's character, but the other actors were great and I'm sure I will check out the other films in this series that will surely come out in the future.
Even worse is the IWC and Cartier placements in House of Cards. They've been there since season one, and I love IWC and Cartier, love them. But every other character has one, and when Stacey puts on what has to be either a 46 mm portofino chronograph on the 44 portuguese it just looks like a wall clock fell on his wrist.
He is indeed. For years now. But then every other character has one and every other scene he has a new one. It's a little overkill. Up to last season he only used 2 models, now I'm at episode 6 and he's gone through about 5.anyway, good show
Took my two teen boys to see it - fun movie for us. I have to say, the ending was a bit over the top... Nearly made my head explode. [emoji43]
