Reference: 165.014 Serial: 22592### Movement: Omega 552 (Automatic) Diameter: 39mm Year: 1965 Price: Want to trade but if you make me an offer I cannot refuse ;-) A watch, which is rarely for sale and when it is for sale it, is most of the time a redial or Franken watch. My vintage Seamaster 300 165.014 comes with the original dial and hands with a nice patina. The Extract of the Omega archives complements the watch and gives the buyer the guarantee that my watch was born as a 165.014. The case is thick and the seahorse is clearly visible. The movement is very clean. My watchmaker recently adjusted the movement and said that it runs smooth and is not in need of any service soon. The watch comes on a Glc suede strap which matches the patina perfectly. Put a vintage Omega buckle on the strap as well. Open to offers: To give you an idea the last two 165.014’s on Chrono24 had asking prices of 6,5 and 8k Euro and where sold within a few days. Pictures have not been photoshopped and give an honest idea of the watch. For trade only interested in Omega, IWC, Tudor, Heuer or Rolex.
I think it's a pretty neat and uncommon watch, a piece is worth what willing buyer/seller agree upon. Congrats on the sale!
Just trying to get a read on the market. I have one of those SM 300s and am interested in figuring out what it might be worth for a possible sale. I have gotten plenty of good advice on this board, including for things like values, particularly on pieces that don't seem to trade often. Sorry if you find that offensive.
price doubled in 6 month... more than a 5513 http://cda.chronomania.net/forum_entry.php?id=124308 (reprint dial for sure but the difference is really huge..)
not the same watch...and really of no use as a reference regardless with that dial. The OP is posting a later 165.014
