Omega vintage Mesh - original?

Hello everyone,

I have just received a vintage Omega Mesh, bought in the classifieds.

What do you think of the bracelet? I just looked online for an identical one but couldn't find one. There is no reference stamped on it, but that is not necessarily an indication that it is not original.

Thanks for your help, Andreas

Looks a bit like that fitted to the Chronostops.

It looks fine to me. In my experience, most vintage mesh/milanese Omega bracelets came from the Japanese domestic market. There were some from the UK as well. This one looks like the latter.

There isn’t much information out there about these. Even the Japanese ones that have numbered references are sparsely discussed. I surmise these were likely locally produced.

I have an almost identical bracelet.

Mine is an OMEGA 18mm stainless steel ‘serpentine bracelet’ Ref. 2028 from Japan

Thank you very much for your comments, I'm reassured for now.

The only problem is that the strap is too long for me, even in the smallest setting it doesn't fit...😵‍💫

Consume lots and lots of cheese-doos and beer, worked for me.

I'm actually planning to do more sport again, but the variant with hot dogs and beer will probably be quicker 🤪
