Looking at a possible purchase but need some smarter folks' help. I think this is an Omega Tresor, cal 4891, ref 2897SC. When I check out the Omega vintage database for ref 2897, the dial photo is different than this one though it did come with this calibre. Thoughts? Redial? The crown is damaged, possible replaced I imagine.

    Thanks!

Looks nice but the crown is definitly wrong, it should aslo be made of gold with 8 facets. the Omega database is not an absolute reference. Sometimes there are variations on the dial and hands.

Thanks! Yes I figured there could be variations but how much and the degree is something I’m still getting a feeling for which is why I thought I should ask those with more experience.

Thanks! As an aside, where or how does one find a replacement crown?
