    Hi,
Is it feasible to have a movement number of 3.3 million and the case having a serial number 5.4 million which is 1909 and 1919 respectively. There is a 10 year gap.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers Russell.

At that point in time, yes.

A lot of these movements were really designed to be inside ladies' pocket watches. Then came WWI, and many soon-to-be soldiers began to purchase wrist watches. Watch companies responded by quickly taking these movements out of inventory and selling them to men in newly-designed cases.

Sometimes these wristwatch cases were purchased separately at a dealer and a movement would be recased on the spot. This practice continued after the war as well.

    Hi
Many thanks for the reply and info. The case has Depose 9846 which is the first patent for fixed case lugs. Anything is possible with Omega.
    Cheers Russell.
