·Hi All,
Well, various projects still are absorbing funds so I'm going to part with another one of my watches, this time a titanium Seamaster with the blue dial and bezel. In really good shape with a near mint bracelet sized at 7.25", the clasp engraving is good and deep and the stainless steel parts of the bracelet show the correct polished finish. Crystal is perfect and the bezel insert is in excellent condition. Lume on the hands and dial is bright and intense. There is no perceptible fading to the red tipped hands.
This case is in excellent condition with minor nicks to the case at 7:30 and one at 9. These are small and could be removed but really this is a watch to be worn and enjoyed. The case has not, to my eye, ever been refinished.
Crown and tube and case back seal have been replaced in December 2013 and a pressure test was done with a Witschi Proofmaster S. I'm happy to report the case is as tight as a drum. Please note some strange tool marks on the case near the case back on the opposite side to the crown. According to the Proofmaster these do not affect the water resistance. My watchmaker said these were likely put there during a previous crown tube replacement.
Timekeeping is excellent and is well within chronometer standards, servicing should not be needed for some time but actual history is unknown. Chronograph starts, stops and resets perfectly. Serial number is intact - 600317XX. No box or papers but I will ship in a new Omega service case and include the 1 spare bracelet link I have, inc pins and tubes.
As a further real world testament to the water resistance, I used this watch to dive on the Great Barrier Reef (Moore Reef) at Christmas time - (didn't quite crack 300m 😉 . So you can use it immediately with confidence if that is what you have in mind! The inbuilt bracelet extender works a treat over a wetsuit.
Pics 😀 - Please excuse the usual fingerprints and dust
I've got good feedback here for the sale of a straight lug Speedmaster and history on WUS and TRF. Also 300+ on eBay. I'm an enthusiast not a dealer. Please see my other posts here.
Price; $2350 USD plus paypal 3% plus I'll do everything I can to help ease any import costs. Shipping via EMS = 5-6 days to anywhere for $80. If it's any less I'll refund you the difference. Insurance not included.
Any questions please ask and thanks for reading!
