Hello All, Would like information about a recently aquired Omega watch. I believe it was made in 1936/7 and is a sought after model..The movement is a caliber T 17. It has a 9ct gold case which has a broken hinge but I believe could be repaired. The movement is working well but loses about a minute a day.
The dial I think is made of silver and needs cleaning but I do not want to touch it. The arabic decals are of gold and pinned into the dial face ( they are not painted on).
I would like to sell it as is but am wondering if the case were to be repaired and an appropriate band fitted would this be worth persuing if I cant improve the dial.
    Welcome any advise or offers . Thanks IMG_0353 (2).JPG move.jpg cover.jpg omega 2.jpg New Image.jpg

Hi, not a lot to expect from a watch in this condition. The dial was already repainted. I am also not sure that this T17 specific model is particularily sought after.
