·Hi, I'm new to vintage watches in that I own none and have no experience purchasing them. However, I've been wanting to buy a vintage Omega, and this Surveran recently caught my eye due to the story behind them. I'm considering purchasing or making a bid on it. The "buy it now" price is $725. Does that seem like a fair price considering the condition of the watch (photos attached)? If not, what do you think would be a more reasonable price? Thanks!
What I know:
Reference Number 2400
Movement Manual, Omega cal. 26.5 SOB
Year 1940s
Original box but no papers.
Watch is running, but service history is unknown.
Has replacement hands.
