Omega Suveran [Considering]

Hi, I'm new to vintage watches in that I own none and have no experience purchasing them. However, I've been wanting to buy a vintage Omega, and this Surveran recently caught my eye due to the story behind them. I'm considering purchasing or making a bid on it. The "buy it now" price is $725. Does that seem like a fair price considering the condition of the watch (photos attached)? If not, what do you think would be a more reasonable price? Thanks!

What I know:
Reference Number 2400
Movement Manual, Omega cal. 26.5 SOB
Year 1940s
Original box but no papers.
Watch is running, but service history is unknown.
Has replacement hands.

Dial is badly repainted and this does look like the smaller model "Officer" which actually was military issued in Sweden, so not a Suverän at all.

The caseback should tell you that its in fact not a ref 2400.

So avoid!

The 26.5 movement was in the Officer, and the Suverän was 30T2. Suverän was 35mm and Officer was 31mm.

It’s not the original box.
this model appeared in the 60s and is still produced by Omega.
