Hi all, a watch came up online and I am thinking of buying it, does this watch look legit to you? It seems like the dial is a refinished one and i cant seem to find any examples of this watch online. It doesnt state the model number as well. Thank you! omega_vintage_sub_second_bumper.jpg omega_vintage_sub_.jpg ome.jpg

Rust, in obvious places. And perhaps in places where it doesn’t show. Loose screws. Has been worn without a gasket! Movement has not been maintained. If you buy, be prepared to spend more on the repair than you likely would pay for the watch. The five minute markers on the dial don’t line up with the indices. Not telling you what to do, but I know what I would(n’t) do. Better to pay more for one in nice original condition which requires a lot fewer repairs.
