Good day good people, I am in need of a pointer or advice here... I recently landed myself with a chronograph containing a Valjoux 7750 movement, however the condition of the case and straps (which are both gold plated and does not even fit properly)... so I have set out to cop a fresh look for this top grade movement. However most of the cases on the market are either rolex copies or huge chunks... I really like the looks of 3520.50/.53 which basically houses the same movement. So I was wondering if there is a place where I can grab a case for that reference or one that is specially designed (?) for 7750... and no I am not going to slap on a omega dial and pretend its a speedmaster. Thank you for your time.

P.S. its really just about the style of the lugs and the bezel, if someone has found cases for 3513.33 that is perfect too 😀))

There is no particular place to buy a replacement omega speedmaster case. You would have to hunt one down on the open market.

I’m not sure I see the point in trying to build a watch around a spare 7750, which is such a common movement. In fact, I think there are even good clones.

just for daily wear I suppose, but you are right though, there is no point in going out of my way to try to case the movement in that specific case, I will just get the daytona clone case

Keep in mind that the case and dial have to go together to some degree…

yeah I will buy a fitting dial, not going to buy one that has tudor or omega symbol on it because then I would feel weird wearing it

I think Al is referring to the fact the dial must be correct for the movement but also fit the case

I ended up buying a “kit” for “7750” I suppose it’s one of those things manufactured to house Chinese 7750 clones like Shanghai or Dandong movements, nonetheless I like the look and was surprised with how economic it was
