Awesome like always, thanks for posting!
Thanks mate, slowly working through all the Bond watches as I want to get the whole series covered eventually. The more time I spend on them the more appreciation I have for them.

Great article. Just wish they went with a ceramic bezel on this one. Whatever hard anodizing they claim to use feels like a step backwards, especially in durability.

@dsio when I got my seamaster the boutique gave me the omega magazine and it highlighted some of the bond watches, it was a fun trip down memory lane.

Yea I’d prefer ceramic too but they do say it’s a special hardened anodised coating that’s supposedly twice as hard and damage resistant as normal, which should be better than the old paint by a good margin. The No Time To Die was also not ceramic and they seem to be holding up decently well so far, haven’t seen any reports yet of damage to one.

Nice watch, nice review.

Omega did such a fine job that it's difficult to justify this 60th.

$8300 USD

Or $2500 USD?

2254 is looking that much better.

What's the source for 8806A calibre? I see the official Omega website states that this watch uses 8806 calibre.

So 8806A is not specific to this watch only, as far as I am aware, all 8806 movements are 8806A thus as there is no 8806B yet. The first revision of each omega movement is typically the A, so for example the original Cal 2500 is Cal 2500A, the first 8500 is Cal 8500A and so on. The additional parts that give this watch the moire automation do not constitute a separate Calibre designation in this case, which is a bit unusual as other watches like the Skyfall Planet Ocean and Spectre Aqua Terra had their own designations for lesser modification.
