Omega spring bar size error?

Hello everyone, so I decided to get a new set of spring bars for my DeVille from my local Omega boutique. They asked me for the serial number to check which spring bars were the right ones for the model I have and they ordered them. Today I went to pick them up amd upon getting home and attempting to change the old ones for the new ones, I realized that they don't fit. They're too thick for the end links on the bracelet. Now I'm not sure what to do. My watch is around ten years old so I'm wondering if maybe omega changed the size of their spring bars since then. I was told that the model number for the spring bars is 2012. Any advice on what to do?

Take them back and ask them to try again. Do you still have the originals?

Yeah, I've still got them but they're starting to bend and they've gotten a bit loose with time which worries me.

Well, as it turns out there was a very simple answer to the problem. I was given the thicker and slightly longer spring bars meant for a leather strap. The correct spring bars for the bracelet have been ordered. On the bright side I now have spring bars for wearing the watch on a strap as I was always worried about doing so with the ones that came with the watch as they are very easy (a little too easy) to remove and have started to bend slightly with wear.
