Hmmm, you come onto the forum, want us to value your watch and you want to sell it here... And you are not saying hello, please or thank you.

Then I think it is worth $650...

It's a reference 145.022-69 Speedmaster. This reference is probably the most common vintage Speedmaster reference. This example does have the "straight writing" case back, which is marginally more rare - however it's poor condition likely offsets any additional value that it might have had from the case back. Aside from the case back, it is no different than any other 145.022-69.

Straight back Speedmasters were produced from 1971-1974, and the serial on this watch points to 1971. I would consider it's condition as poor. I don't think the bracelet or the end-links are Omega, but the clasp appears to be. Even if the bracelet is Omega, it does not belong with this watch, so contributes nothing to value.

Thanks for the info I think the watch is in great condition for 47 years old? The bracelet is genuine omega, but your right not for this watch, the original went many years ago, I’m glad it’s a 1971 as that means a lot as it was the year I was born.

Condition can be subjective certainly. If you own it and plan on wearing it, then congrats and wear it happily, as non of our opinions on condition matter in the slightest. But if someone was selling this watch (which you can't do here, so steer a wide path around that topic on until you've 200 posts), then no collector or prospective buyer would consider this in great condition.

There should be a set of numbers stamped on the inside of the bracelet clasp. Either a photo of this area or the numbers that are stamped there would clarify the nature of the bracelet. It looks like an Omega clasp put on to a generic bracelet and endlinks, but I could be wrong.

It sounds like you are just looking for a number. I'd say somewhere south of 3000 USD. Depending on actual in-hand condition. And location. And willingness from buyer and seller. And.. And... Do you have another sharp photo of the front, straight and from the left side angled in (so you see the "70" marker on the bezel)?

If you look at Speedmaster101, it would be rated "Running". Good for 47 years old =/= 'good'...

I’m not looking for a number, I put it on eBay with a crazy start price a few months ago, and turned down £4,000 I may be mad but it’s worth more than that to me, being my late dads watch that he bought the year I was born, I can’t put a number on it.

Well... Obviously you can put a number on it since you listed it on eBay

Just to see what interest it had I knew it would not make what my start price was, just to give me a rough idea what it’s worth I’m in no rush to sell it, it means a lot.

Which specific areas of this watch would you define as being poor? The OP has said the bracelet is not original to the watch. I would be interested to see what it is you find so wrong with this watch.

Unfortunately sentimental value to you does not equate to a higher monetary value for the watch. What you seem to be saying is the watch, while very special to you, is in fact for sale if someone offers you enough. That makes me a bit sad.
